I am Daniela Lenz, originally from Germany and now currently residing in Zurich. My professional journey began in diagnostic labs. Twenty years ago, that was the place where I discovered my enthusiasm for research. After dedicating many years to gene therapy, I briefly switched my focus to SARS-CoV2 research, contributing to the development of a vector vaccine against SARS CoV-2.

At the moment, I derive joy from being back in a research lab dedicated to the advancement of gene therapy. Alongside my own project, I play a role in AAV production and provide help to colleagues with various routine technical tasks and experiments.

One additional reason why I moved to Switzerland is its beautiful nature. During my leisure time, you can find me hiking or mountain biking in the mountains. That is the best way for me to recharge for the upcoming week.
