I am coming from North Macedonia and I obtained Master of Pharmacy degree at Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje. After the studies, I did several internships including the ones at Faculty of Pharmacy in Ljubljana, Slovenia (supported with CEEPUS mobility grant), Faculty of Pharmacy, Ludwig Maximilian Universität in Germany (supported by Bayer Foundation with Otto Bayer Fellowship in Drug Discovery) and Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology in Japan (OIST Research Internship program).

My PhD project is focused on developing new gene therapy strategies for inherited retinal disease (retinitis pigmentosa and Statgardt disease) using CRISPR/Cas-meadiated transcriptional activation approach and recombinant adeno associated viral (rAAV) vectors for therapeutic gene delivery to the retina.

My hobbies are traveling, exploring new places and cultures and meeting new people. In my free time I like to watch football, tennis and handball.
